Summary
The Heavy Haul Driver Manager is responsible to ensure high quality and profitable operation of the division, lead and develop a fleet of drivers in a deadline driven, fast paced, ever-changing, dynamic work environment. The Driver Manager is responsible to develop strong relationships with their fleet of drivers while achieving performance, training, safety, retention and service needs in accordance with company and department quality, utilization, and profit objectives.
Education and Experience
- A degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of transportation industry experience.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in map reading and navigation is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working independently and adept at prioritizing tasks.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and online tools.
